MRS. JOHN STEPHENSON

Florence L. West Day Stephenson, daughter of Henry and Alice West, was born Nov. 1, 1888 in Mineral Point, Wis., and died on Aug. 6, 1963 in Cherokee at the age of 74 years and nine months.

On March 17, 1917, she was married to John A. Stephenson. They became the parents of five children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1956; by an infant son, Travey, two daughters, Florence Irene and Laura Eva; her parents; three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors are two sons, Francis Blair Day of Whitewater, Wis., and Charles A. Stephenson, Cherokee; also 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Aug. 9, form Boothby Funeral Home with Rev. Max Paige officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
