SILVERTON, Or., Oct. 30.--(Special.)--A.A. Grinde, 77, died here Thursday after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 A.M. from the Immanuel Lutheran church. Mr. Grinde came to Silverton from North Dakota 30 years ago. He is survived by his widow and seven children; Mrs. Julia Fry, Albert Grinde and Ella Grinde of Silverton; Mrs. Minnie Odell and Joseph Grinde of Portland; Mrs. Florence Seeley of Medford, and Mrs. Alma Ames of Albany. One brother, Carl of South Dakota; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

He is in the censuses as both Andrew and Anders Grinde. His father's name was Anders. He is in the Oregon death index as Andreas. His obit simply lists him as A.A. Grinde.
