William Logan was a son of David and Hannah Self Logan of Burke County, North Carolina. He was employed for many years with the International Shoe Company's Burke Tannery.
In 1888 he married Mary Jane Grady, who died in 1923.
Children: Bessie O., Arthur E., Cordia, Beulah, William H, and Edley.
He was survived by his daughter, Mrs. W.M. Harris, and sons Edley A. Logan and W. Hobart Logan.
