Dorothea A. Werner,86, 701 N. Dill St., died Friday in Albany Nursing Care after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Werner was born in Arcanum, Ohio, the daughter of John and Maryetta Marshall. She had been a Muncie resident since 1943. She was a homemaker and an avid bingo player.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Shirley Martin, Eaton; five grandchildren, Elvin II, James D. and Teresa Williams, Cheresa Johnson and DeLinda Martin; four great-grandchildren, Marissa Johnson, Reene Johnson, Michael Martin, and Kristy Waters; two step great-grandchildren, Michael and Jason Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Donald B. Werner, died this year. A son, Elvin Leslie Martin, two brothers, and five sisters are also deceased.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling will begin at noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
