He was preceded in death by his sister, Winnell Boner; brothers, Lowell and Sam Morris and son-in-law, Loren Joe Kilmer, Sr.
He is survived by his wife; his sons, David Morris of Whitesboro, Wayne Morris of Chico, and Tim Morris of Decatur; his daughters, Martha Kilmer and Joetta Kilmer of Slidell; his brother, Olan Morris of Fort Worth; his sisters, Almeta Carr and Arese Malcolm of Decatur and Anna Lee Wallace of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
