Funeral services for Arthur George “Bud” Walker, 67, of Lexington were held Saturday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home chapel in Lexington. Rev. James Carr, Rev. Mike O’Brien and Rev. Chuck Fowler officiated. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Walker, a native of Waltham, Massachusetts, died Thursday, April 23 at Methodist Hospital of Middle Mississippi in Lexington. He was a retired farmer and veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marilyn Watkins Walker of Lexington; one son, Bob Walker of Sidon; one daughter, Miss Terri Walker of Statesboro, Georgia; and three grandsons.

Pallbearers were Johnny Henderson, Randy Henderson, B.B. Gilmer, Mike Lammons, L.A. Gray, and Billy Zeigler. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Bill Jones and Joe Tingle.
