Rev. Linnie Wiley, Server Pastorates
The Rev. Linnie Gertrude Wiley, 83, of Round Hill died Sept. 20 at Loudoun Memorial Hospital. Born in Clarke County on March 2, 1897, she was a daughter of Thomas W. and Jane Littleton Bayles.
Rev. Wiley was an ordained minister in the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Inc. for more than 35 years and had served various pastorates in this area. At the time of her death she was minister at the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church at Paeonian Springs.
She is survived by her husband, John William Wiley whom she married April 19, 1919, one son, William R. Wiley of Leesburg, four daughters, Elizabeth Marie Bayles and Barbara Jean Cerabalo of Charles Town, W.Va., Naomi Ballenger of Hamilton and Violet G. Shumaker of Round Hill; one brother, R. Baker Bayles of Blue; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Baker and Amos A. Wiley.
Funeral services were held Sept 23 at the Hall Funeral Home n Purcellville with the Revs Paul A. Hanak and Arthur Lanham officiating. Interment was in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were her grandsons.
