John S. Johnson, 69, 3516 Colby Ave., died in a hospital late Tuesday evening after a brief illness. Mr. Johnson was born in Minneapolis, Minn., July 21st, 1888, and had resided in Everett for 32 years. He was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of Our Saviour's Luthern Church, Normanna Lodge No. 3, Sons of Norway, and the Carpenters Union, Local 562. Surviving him are his widow, Kathryn, of 3516 Colby Ave.; four daughters, Mrs. Stella Vitale, of Seaside, Oregon, Mrs. Alice Willett of 610 Hawthorne Ave., Mrs. Bernice Sprague of Snohomish and Mrs. Mabel Sommers of 7718 Rainer Drive; one son, James Johnson of 1021 Madison Ave,; one borther, Harry Johnson of Minneapolis, and three sisters, Mrs. Isabel Gahagan of Grand Forks, ND., Mrs. Emma Herman of Wauko, Iowa, and Mrs. Othelia Hannan of Dubuque, Iowa, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral Araangements are under the direction of the Solie Funeral Hamone and will be announced later.
