He was born June 5, 1910 in Wagoner, OK., son of Samuel Parkman and Ethel Mae (White) Beals.
On Feb. 9, 1936, he married Marie Rich in Mahomet.
Mr. Beals was a member of the Baptist Church of Mahomet and Loyal Order of Moose in Champaign.
He was employed at the Rowell Elevator three years.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Betty) Harris of Urbana; sisters, Mrs. Emery (Hazel) Endsley of Bondville and Esther Beals, Tuscola and a brother, Amos of Monticello.
Rev. Wallace Watson conducted services at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and at the burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign.
