A funeral service for Overton Hansford Hall, 57, of Ordinary, will be held at 3 p.m. today in Providence Baptist Church at Ordinary, of which he was a member, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. William J. Corey.

Mr. Hall died on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 1967 in a Richmond hospital following an extended illness.

For a number of years he was employed by the Gloucester-Yorktown Ferry Corporation. He was later engaged in road construction business, both with his father the late Hansford A. Hall and after his death, by himself. At the time of his illness he was an employee of Broaddus & Hall, Gloucester.

His survivors are his wife, Mrs. Catherine Linden Hall; his mother, Mrs. Hansford A. Hall of Ordinary; a sister, Mrs. Marvin Lee Brown of Ordinary; and four brothers, Woodrow E. Hall of Hinsdale, Ill., Myron H. Hall and J. Ellis Hall, both of Gloucester, and Francis L. Hall of Urbana.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Myron Hall, Craig Hall, Douglas Hall, Freddie Hall, R. Delbert Hogge and James Robert Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fellowship S. S. class, of which he was a member, and the Men's Bible Class of the church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
