Mary M. Veronesi, 88, of Seminole, died Thursday evening, March 6, 2008, in Jefferson Manor, Brookville.

Born Oct. 7, 1919, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of George and Hazel Cornman. Mrs. Veronesi was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem. She was a homemaker.

She was married Oct. 12, 1940, to Eddie Veronesi, who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Bright of Seminole and Carolyn "Sis" Bright of Kittanning; three brothers-in-law, Frank Veronesi of Kittanning, Aldo Veronesi and wife, Olive, of Seminole and Milton Veronesi and wife, Lois, of Seminole; a sister-in-law, Emma Spanedda and husband, John, of New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews; a special niece, Jill Nieswonger; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Veronesi was preceded in death by two sisters, Katheryn Solida and Dorothy "Dot" Coradi; and a brother, George "Bugs" Cornman.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Bish Memorial Funeral Home, 206 South St., New Bethlehem. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Charles Catholic Church, New Bethlehem, with the Rev. William Laska, pastor, presiding.

Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery, New Bethlehem.
