ODESSA — Sara Beth Wade, 46, of Odessa passed away Friday, March 30, 2001, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Jan. 20, 1955, in Odessa to Waylon and Ruth Flanery.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 2, 2001, at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jess Little of Sunset Heights Baptist Church officiating.
Mrs. Wade was raised in Odessa, graduating from Odessa High School in 1973. She married Henry Wade on June 7, 1973. Her life has been lived as a devoted wife and mother to her family and friend to the Odessa community.
She was a member of the OHS swim team booster club. Mrs. Wade always had a booth at the VFW flea market. She attended Sunset Heights Baptist Church in Odessa.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Wade of Odessa; two daughters, Sarena Weatherly and Rachel Wade, both of Odessa; a son, Travis Wade of Odessa; a grandchild, Willow Lamb of Odessa; a sister, Rena Elmore of Whitney; parents, Waylon and Ruth Flanery of Whitney; and her paternal grandmother, Bea Flanery of Hillsboro.
