Services for Elsie Cate Crowder, 67, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at the Trinity Church Chapel in Lubbock with Robin Tittle officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Elsie died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004.
She was born Feb. 4, 1936 in Kilgore, Texas. She married Cecil Crowder on Aug. 30, 1990 and he died Feb. 25, 1991. She was a member of the Daughter's of the Pioneers, Southern Gospel Music Association, Living Vine Foursquare Church and the Trinity Church's Prime Timers. She was a Home Health care provider.
She is survived by two sons, Darrell and Kenneth Cate, both of Lubbock; six grandchildren; her mother, Minnie Ola Gray of Leesburg, Va.; two brothers, James Gray of Hollister, Calif., and Gordon Gray of Leesburg, Va.
