Former Resident Died Yesterday

George McNabb, 71, Long Resident Of County, Passes At Briggsdale, Ohio.

George McNabb, 71 years old, died yesterday morning at his home in Briggsdale, Ohio. The deceased was long a resident of Gill Township where he was a former trustee of Gill Township. He lived at Carlisle for some time after leaving Gill Township.

Mr. and Mrs. McNabb moved to Ohio about seven years ago. The remains arrived here today and were taken to the Billman Funeral Home and were then taken to the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nellie McNabb at Merom today. The funeral will be held at the Methodist Church in Merom at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning with burial in the Merom Cemetery. He is survived by the widow. Mr. McNabb was a brother of the late Allison G. McNabb, Sullivan attorney.

Body Of Former Resident Returned To Merom For Burial

George McNabb, 71, a former resident of Sullivan County, died at Columbus, Ohio, Wednesday morning. He had engaged in farming near Merom until about seven years ago.

The body arrived at Terre Haute this morning and was brought to the Billman Funeral Home. It was taken later to the home of a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nell McNabb at Merom.
Funeral arrangements are planned for Friday morning at 10:30 at the Methodist Church in Merom.

Geo. McNabb Rites Held Yesterday

The funeral of George McNabb, who died in Ohio June 27, was held at the Methodist Church at Merom Friday morning at 10:30 with Rev. H.H. Allen in charge.

The song services were conducted by a mixed quartet of the church. The Merom Masonic lodge was in charge and furnished the pall bearers, Jess Dougherty, Watt Cooper, Roe Noll, Earl Coyner, Grover Vickery, and Dick Hoskins. The flower bearers were Mary Ward, Mary Bolenbaugh, Ella Louise Smith, Rosalee Norris.

Interment was in the Merom Cemetery.
