Rebecca Markley was born in Washington county, Penn., Nov. 17, 1837, and departed this life Aug. 12, 1908. She was married to S. H. Kisner in Newport, W. Va., May 6, 1860. To this union were born six children, who survive her. She united with the M. E. church when a girl.
She leaves a husband, six children and nineteen grandchildren to mourn her departure. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bailiff, interment at York cemetery.
