Grover St. died Sunday evening in a local nursing home after several month's
illness. Born in Scipio Center, Miss Aiken was a clerk at Hislop Store for 40
years before retiring in 1959. She resided in Auburn most of her life and was a
member of Second Baptist Church. Surviving are two cousins, Mrs. John Eshner
[NOTE: Should be Mrs. William Eshenour - R. A. Post] of Royal Oak, Mich., and
Mrs. Muriel Post of Scipio. Funeral services will be held at the Brew Funeral
Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Dr. James E. Stuart of Second Baptist Church
will officiate. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the
funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday."
