C. J. MOORE DIES HERE AT AGE OF 85
Charles J. Moore, 425 East Brundage street, died Tuesday at Sheridan County Memorial hospital at the age of 85. He had resided in Sheridan 53 years.
Mr. Moore was born Jan. 29, 1871, in Boone county, Indiana. He came to Sheridan in 1910 and was engaged in ranching before his retirement. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Edna Moore; one son, Harold Dewey moore of Sheridan and a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Mason, Billings, Mont.; two sisters Mrs. Frances Rasmussen, Vancouver, Wash.; Mrs. Belle Tykes,Shelton, Neb.; four brothers,Verne,Archie and Ray Moore, all of Grand Island, Neb.; and William Moore of Seattle, Wash., and a grandson, Charles Elwood Moore, Sheridan. There are also 17 great grandchilden and several nieces and nephews surviving.
Funeral services, under the direction of Champion's are pending.
