Jessie was the daughter of Harrison Leroy Mace (b. Jul 1871 in Miller Co., Missouri and d. 18 Apr 1914 in Coffeyville, Kansas) and Lena Marshall ARMSTEAD Mace (b. 1875 in Missouri and d. 1964 in Levering, Michigan - see Lena's page on FAG). She married an Fred Ainsworth about 1918 but is divorced by at least 1925 as indicated on the 1930 census.

Jessie appears on the 1930 census for Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan and is living with her mother and adult siblings Herman (1903-1988 ), Sherman F. (1905-1990), Dean (1906-1994), and Joseph P. (1909-1954 ) .. Lena is listed as head of household. Jessie was married and divorced before 1925 (she is listed as "D" for divorced) she never remarried as her name on the funeral marker is "Ainsworth" - the same as she appeared on the 1930 census. Jessie also appears on the 1900 and 1910 Richwoods, Miller Co., Missouri census records and the 1915 Fawn Creek, Montgomery Co., 1855-1925 Kansas State Collection records.

Jessie is buried toward the right side of the cemetery about mid way back from Bonnett Road (not too far off the dirt road that cuts side-to-side in the cemetery and not too far from the right hand road off Bonnett Road). She is buried next to her mother, Lena Marshall ARMSTEAD Mace.

Jessie does not have a headstone, just the small marker the funeral home puts on the grave site. Christian Funeral Home in Cheboygan, Cheboygan Co., Michigan handled the burial; Jessie is buried in Section M next to her brother, Dean M., who is also buried in Munro Cemetery along with his wife, Pauline HAIG Mace. Their mother is buried in front of Jessie.

She was a good natured person and very devoted to her mother. She had one son from Fred Ainsworth, Named LeRoy
