Minnie Gildemeister Services Held

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 13, for Mrs. Minnie Gildemeister at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooten with Rev. Glen Rachuv officiating and Rev. David Nelson of Paynesville, co-officiating. Mr. Eugene Thompson of North Fork, who was accompanied by Mrs. Henry Baalson, who sang two vocal solos. Pallbearers were Arnold Leverson, Boyd Lien, Dale Fauksee, Orville Wollwage, Edwin Sandvig and Edwin Buchholz.
Interment was at the Big Grove Cemetery.
Minnie Gildemeister is survived by her children, Mrs. Lavina Fauskee of Milwaukee, Wis.; George of Paynesville; Wilbert of Brooten; Mrs. Orton Herbrandson of Lawndale, California.
Other survivors include eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also five sisters and two brothers, one of which is Mrs. Gildemeister's twin. Mr. Gildemeister preceeded her in passing on October 3, 1951.

Mrs. Glidemeister, 82, died at Koronis Manor Nursing Home in Paynesville on March 9, where she had resided since August of 1968.
She was born in Dexter, Minnesota on August 12, 1886 and married William Gildemeister on December 7, 1905. In 1915 the family moved to North Fork Township and lived there until 1936 when they purchased a home in Brooten. Mrs. Gildemeister transferred from the Big Grove Lutheran Church in 1959 where she was an active member until last April when she became seriously ill.
Those attending the funeral from a distance were from Milwaukee, Wis., Paynesville, Austin, Dexter, Minneapolis, Elbow Lake Glenwood and Sedan.
