Lou Ella “Clemie” Clement, 88, of Denver died March 1. Services were March 6.

Mrs. Clement was born in Denver on Nov. 3, 1907. She married Carl John Clement.

She was a volunteer for the Clements Community Center for 10 years, and a charter member of the Mile High Church of Religious Science.

Survivors include her son Thomas; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Lou Ella Clement of Denver, the first woman parachute jumper in Colorado, died March 1 in Denver. She was 88.

Memorial services were March 6 at Moore-Howard Mortuary. She was born Nov. 3, 1907, in Denver. Her husband, Carl John Clement, is deceased.

Mrs. Clement was a charter member of Mile Hi Church of Religious Science, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a volunteer for Clements Community grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to West Metro Fire Protection District, 9001 W. Jewell Ave., Lakewood 80232.
