WEDDING AT
HOME OF C. NYE
Esther Bain and Charles H Bullard the principals.
In the presence of the immeditade families of the couple,Miss Esther Bain and Charles H Bullard were quietly married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nye at the corner of Jasper and Olive streets, Tuesday afternoon at 3 O"clock.
One of the pleasantest features of the marrige was the presence of John Pryde the best man. He was the miner who escaped from the coal mine after lying unconscious nearly twelve hours.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. H Peters, pastor of the English Lutheran church. The bride was prettily gowned in white and carried flowers. She was attended by Miss Jessie Bain acting as bridesmaid.
After the wedding ceremony a dinner was served to the quest, and the afternoon was pleasantly spent in a general good time. John Pryde received much attention and many congratulations.
Mr Bullard is a Wabash freight conductor and one of the best known in the service. He just finished a term as master of the local lodge of B.of R. T.
Mrs Bullard is a sister of Mrs Nye, at whose home the ceremony was performed.
