JOHN J. ENGEL PASSES AWAY
John J. Engel of Lodi, passed away in a Stockton hospital Thurs. morning following a short illness. A native of S Dakota, he was 46 years of age.
Mr. Engel leaves two daughters, Lorraine Engel and Betty Anne Engel of Lodi; a brother, Fred Engel of Woodrow, Canada; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Klauss of Parkston, S. Dakota; another brother, Carl Engel of Lincoln, Neb., and his father, John Engel of Lodi.
Private graveside services will be conducted on Sat. morning at 10am in the Lodi Cemetery with the Rev. A. Felberg of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be made in the Lodi Cemetery under the direction of the Wells Funeral Home.
