Albert Newton Adamson was the son of James Henry Adamson and Lucy Jane Barnett.
His father died from wounds suffered in Civil War Battle in Chattanooga, TN in 1863
and James Adamson is buried there in Chattanooga National Cemetery. His mother Lucy Jane (Barnett) Adamson d/o James Barnett and Mary Lucy "Polly" Monson, remarried to 2/h Henry Newton Gray 18 Dec 1871 Fleming Co., KY.
After death of 2/h Henry N. Gray in 1877, Albert, mother Lucy Jane and siblings moved to Cass Co., MO., where Lucy Jane (Barnett) Adamson, Gray had an Aunt Lucy (Monson) Hume and cousins living.
Albert N. Adamson m. Clara Rollins 24 Aug 1892 in Grandview, Jackson Co., MO., and remained in Kanas City, Missouri the remainder of his life.
