Born Aug. 21, 1901, in Peoria to Patrick and Bridget Lavin McGann, she married Joseph F. Day on April 23, 1938, in Peoria. He died in March 1952.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are two nephews, Robert and William McGann, both of Peoria; and four nieces, Eileen Frye, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Irwin, Mrs. Ed (Joanne) Greenwald, all of Peoria, and Mrs. William (Jean) Willoughby of Michigan.
She was a bookkeeper for Pabst Brewery for many years.
She was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's League.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
