Sikeston - Guy Potts, 74 years old, a former resident of Kieston, died Tuesday in East St. Louis, Ill., where he resided.
Mr. Potts was born Jan. 8, 1887 (different than the death date on his tombstone), in Kentucky. He was a farmer and carpenter. His wife Bertha Daniel Potts, died several years ago.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Maude) Presson; two sons, Miller Potts and Russell Potts; two sisters, Mrs. Vuna Moser and Mrs. Minnie Morse; three brothers, Virgil Potts, Sam Potts and Will Potts; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at the Albritton Funeral Home in Sikeston. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
