Linnie W. Holt, age 81, of Jamestown, died August 1, 1990, at her residence. Born January 14, 1909, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Fetnah Blankenship Wooldridge, and the widow of Orville Holt. Mrs. Holt was a member of the Freedom Christian Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Anna Walkup, Joyce Feese, Carole Tupman, and Frances Mason, all of Jamestown, and Rachel Cunningham, Lexington, Ky.; two step-daughters, Lois McKinley, Monticello, Ky. and Elizabeth Bell, Jacksonville, Florida; three brothers, Felix Wooldridge, Abner Wooldridge, and Albert Wooldridge, all of Jamestown; eight grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Friday, August 3, 1990, 10 a.m., at the Freedom Christian Church, with Bro. Tim Ratcliff officiating. Special music was presented by Diana Piercy and Tiffany Hart.
Pallbearers were Steve Conover, Ricky Knight, Kenny Mason, Cole Mason, Tony Tupman, Chris Wells, Larry Wells, and Mark Weston. H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapels was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Jamestown Cemetery.
