Died, Dora C. Kaser, wife of Oliver Kazer, at her home on Otter Creek, four miles north-west of Cedar Vale, at 9:15 a.m., on Wednesday April 4th, 1900, aged 31 years, 8 months and 18 days. Dora C. Kazer, was the daughter of George W., and Sarah Cloyd. She was born in Monroe county, Kentucky, July 15th, 1868, and moved with her parents to Kansas in 1879. She was married to Oliver Kaser September 11, 1887. She leaves an aged father and mother, a kind and affectionate husband, three children, two little boys and a girl, and many relatives and friends to mourn the loss of earth's most precious gift - mother. The funeral services were conducted at the home by Elder J.D. Moflitt of Winfield, on Thursday, April 5th, 1900, at 1 o'clock p.m., after which the body of our beloved sister was taken to the Cedar Creek cemetery and laid away to rest, there to await the Arch angel's trumpet and the voice of God. A large concourse of people, quite a number of whom are relatives of the deceased, followed her to her last resting place. The bereaved husband and relatives have the deepest sympathy of the entire community.
