Funeral At Bechyn For James A. Moudry

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Mary's church in Bechyn for James A. Moudry, pioneer resident of Henryville township, who passed away suddenly of a heart attack while making repairs on his farm, now being operated by Leonard Hosek.

A short service was first held at the home of Mrs. Rose Wacek, his sister, followed by the service at the Bechyn church. Fr. Sleckta officiated and interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery.

Pallbearers were J. M. Kubeah, W. C. Kodet, Frank Macholda, John Frank, Sr., John Malecek and Wencel Kojetin.

Deceased was born July 28, 1878 in Bohemia. He came to this country with his parents when he was two years of age. He continued to operate the home farm in Henryville township after the death of his parents. For the past number of years, he has rented out the farm and made his home with his sister, Mrs. Rose Wacek.

Other survivors are one brother. Joseph W. Moudry; and three sisters, Mrs. Rose Wacek, Mrs. Joseph F. Honzay and Mrs. J. W. Honzay. His parents, two brothers and two sisters have preceded him in death.
