Nettie Green, 102
One of the oldest residents of the county, Nettie Luther "Aunt Bun" Green died Saturday, June 5, 2010, in the Golden Living nursing home at Boaz at the age of 102.
She was born July 31, 1907, to Jacob G. and Eviegreen Story Cleckler. She was an educator. She had a BS Degree from the University of Alabama along with other degrees.
She was the widow of Clatis Green.
Her funeral was Monday at Mt. Oak Methodist Church with Rev. Cliff Moore officiating. Gober Funeral Home directed. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
