Mr. A. G. Gardner, 77, of Elkton, died Wednesday, July 6, 1988, at his residence. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 10, at Saint Elizabeth Primitive Baptist Church in Elkton with the Rev. Brady Leslie and Elder Eugene Lewis officiating. Burial was in Elkton Cemetery. Queen Ann Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
A native of Giles County, Mr. Gardner was the son of the late Atha and Etha Bonner Gardner. He was retired from the L&N Railroad Company.
Survivors include two brothers, the Rev. S. L. Gardner of Louisville, Ky., O. C. Gardner of Ardmore, Tenn.; six nephews, nine nieces; a cousin (with whom he lived), Miss Ella Mary Eddings of Elkton.
