Mrs. Lettie Powell, daughter of the late James and Fettie Wooldridge, of Jamestown, passed away June 25, 1975 at Adair Memorial Hospital after several months' illness. She was 76.
Survivors include: husband, Ivan C. Powell, Jamestown; one daughter, Irene Rogers, Jamestown; two grandchildren, Bruce Rogers, Diana Piercy, Jamestown; two great grandchildren, Angela Rogers, Rachel Rogers, London; four brothers, Albert Wooldridge, Porter Wooldridge, Abner Wooldridge, Felix Wooldridge, all of Jamestown; one sister, Linnie Holt, Jamestown; and many other relatives.
The funeral was held Friday, June 27, 1975 at 10:00 a.m. at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapels with services conducted by Brother H.B. Popplewell and Brother Phil Curry. Interment was in Jamestown Cemetery at Jamestown.
Pallbearers were Marshall Wooldridge, Bruce Rogers, Stephen Richards, Almer Richards, Billy Tupman, and Curtis Powell.
