Funeral Friday For Mrs. J.T. Janssen
Funeral services for Mrs. J.T. Janssen will be held at the Methodist church here Friday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. F.D. Grover of Maysville officiating. Burial will be in the Carnegie cemetery.
Minnie Frances Fisher was born April 14, 1880 at Clarenda, Iowa and died Jan. 15 at her home here at the age of 64 years, 9 months and one day. She had been in failing health for some time. She was married to John T. Janssen in Gage county, Nebr. March 17, 1897 and to this union 10 children were born, one preceding her in death.
Mr. and Mrs. Janssen moved to Oklahoma in 1901 and have lived in and near Carnegie for several years, having formerly lived near Tuttle and Pocasset. She was converted and united with the Methodist church in Tuttle in 1928.
Survivors are her husband; five sons; Ted of Utah, Clyde of Tuttle, Clifford in civil service work in Honolulu, Earl serving overseas in the navy and Johnie serving in the army; four daughters, Mable of Verden, Marie of the home, Margaret of Woodward and Frances of Perry. Four sisters, seven brothers, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
