Harold was killed in the line of duty as an Iowa Highway Patrolman in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.He was also a vet of WWII in 3rd Marine Div. at Guadacanal, Invasion of Guam and invasion of Iwo Jima and later Korea as a Marine and also listed on WWII Memorial in Washington DC.
