George Jefferson "Jack" Wolfe, 84, of Nixa, died Sept. 3 at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield. Services for Mr. Wolfe were held Tuesday at the Harris Chapel, Nixa, with the Rev. Tommy Bilyeu officiating. Burial was in Delaware Cemetery, Nixa. Mr. Wolfe was a member of the Union Ridge Baptist Church, and was a retired farmer, having lived in Clever all his life until moving to Nixa 12 years ago. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhoda Lou, in 1942, and by two brothers, Dee Wolfe and Leaford Wolfe. His survivors include his wife, Gladys, of the home; a son, Robert Wolfe, of Ozark; a daughter, Mrs. Katie Lee Mabe, of Nixa; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
