Angeline Phoebe (Angie) Starkey [Hibbard-Howell], born in Minnesota, is the fourth of eight children born to father John Marvin Starkey (1827 NY - 1907 MN) and mother Adelia Ann (Delia) Gay [Starkey] (1829 NY - 1913 MN). Of her siblings, the ones known to be deceased are: John A. Starkey (1853 PA - 1930 MN), Samuel D Starkey (1855 MN - 1912 MN), Addison Dennis Starkey (1857 MN - 1925 MN), Thomas Jefferson Starkey (1861 MN - 1933 MN), Reuben Dudley Starkey (1868 MN - 1948 MN), Delia Ann Starkey [Hobbs] (1870 MN - 1941 MN), Laura Ett Starkey (1872 MN - 1890 MN). She married Herman Albert Hibbard (1848 NY - 1890 MN) on 4 Jul 1876 at Anoka, Anoka, Minnesota. To this union, 6 children were born, the ones known to be deceased being: Myron Marvin Hibbard (1877 MN - 1954 WA), Effie Jane Hibbard [Stamwitz-Dunn] (1877 MN - 1961 WA), Carrie Hibbard (1881 MN - 1899 MN), George Hibbard (1882 MN - 1925 MN), Ella M. Hibbard (1882 MN - 1888 MN), Mabel Clare Hibbard [Nay] (1884 MN - 1966 WA). She married Robert A. Howell (1857 MI - ? ) on 2 Nov 1904 at Hennepin County, Minnesota. No children were born to this union. After her husband Herman died in 1890, she lived with her children and then eventually married Robert A. Howell. Sometime after 1920 she moved to Washington, presumably to be closer to her 3 children living there.

Funeral Services will be held under auspices of Mystic Jewel Rebekah Lodge, and the Rev. C. J. Boppell, Saturday, November 27, at 2 p.m. from the mortuary chapel of Arthur A. Wright & Son., 6th Ave West and Queen Anne Boulevard. Friends of [or] members are invited to attend. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
