Mrs. McKay and a friend had driven to Hearne Friday evening and were returning when the accident occured. George Harman of Tyler, driver of the car, suffered cuts about the face and shock.
Mrs McKay was classified advertising manager of the Bryan News and active in numerous local women's organizations.
She is survived by her husband William G. McKay;, two chidren, William and George of Bryan and her parents, Mr and Mrs G. A. Herrmann of Chicago, Ill.
