Lydgia K. Greiner,82, 2910 S. Franklin St., died Monday in Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Hospital while vacationing in Florida.
A native of Muncie and the daughter of Lafayette and Ona Mumford, she spent most of her life in the Muncie area. She worked several years for General Lamp Co. prior to retiring. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Helen Greiner Jr., Muncie; a sister, June Hunt, Sarasota; eight granchildren, including Lynn Evans, John (Jack) Greiner III, and James and Joseph Greiner, all of Muncie; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, John W. Greiner Sr., preceded her in death.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday in Grace Episcopal Church with Charles Mason, rector, officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Meeks Mortuary.
