Lucretia was the oldest of ten children born to Harry Lee and Maebelle (Weaver) Safrit. She married (1) Vestal Lee Call Jr. and they had three children: Boyd Dale, Teresa Darlene and David Scott. She later married (2) Robert Jacob Heilig in 1964 and they had one son Robert Jacob Jr.
