Twila Mae Leichtenberger, 68, of Clarendon, died April 2, 1993, at Warren General Hospital.
She was born, January 5, 1925, in Tionesta, a daughter of the late Everett and Florance Walters Atwell. She lived in Warren County most of her life. She was a 1943 graduate of Warren High School and a member of the Clarendon Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edmund Chapel; her second husband, Paul A. Leichtenberger and a brother, Melvin Atwell.
Surviving are two sons, Paul Leichtenberger and Peter Leichtenberger, both of Sheffield; two daughers, Ella Mae Chappel and Amy Leichtenberger; both a home; five grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Crossley, Lake Wales, FL; and Esther Haight and Ella Blum, both of Clarendon; three borthers; Harold Atwell, Council Bluff, Iowa; Arthur Atwell, Sheffield and Elton Atwell, Atlanta, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Borden-Vincent Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Romine, pastor of the Sheffield United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Mike Coccarelli, pastor of the Clarendon Church of God, officiated. Interment was in the Brookston Cemetery.
