Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at Hathaway-Peterman Chapel, Wheatland.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, and one hour prior to Thursday morning prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Breshears, 81, Hermitage, died at Mercy Hospital, Springfield. He was born at Avery, the son of Alva H. and Ada C. Ray Breshears.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1953-1956. He had worked several years for the Defense Mapping Agency for the Army Corps of Engineers.
His parents; his first wife, Mary Breshears; and his son, Larry Breshears, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Breshears of the home; one son, William Robert “Bill” Breshears of Hermitage; one daughter, Theresa Lovell of Lenexa, Kan.; one daughter-in-law, Alene Bydler Breshears Weda of Pleasant Hill; one stepson, Paul O’Neal of Camdenton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Jeremy Hostettler will officiate with interment in Crutsinger Cemetery, Weaubleau. Military honors will be provided by the Galmey V.F.W. Post 9638.
