LaMoine served in the U.S. Army during World War II and served tours in France and Germany. He worked for Longbell Company and was a Foreman for Senne's Construction Company when he retired in 1984.
He was married to Agnes L. Savage on Jan. 1, 1947, at Topeka. She preceded him in death on Jan. 5, 1996.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Pattie Jo Adams (Frank) of Topeka and Barbara Jean Harr of Texas; a sister: Darlene Maier (Warren) of Hillsboro, OH; a granddaughter and caregiver: Jennifer Ray of Topeka; a cousin: Ester Faunce of Topeka; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Sat., Feb. 10, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. A Fort Riley U.S. Army Detail will conduct military honors at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. LaMoine will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Fri., at the funeral chapel were the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
