Nellie Weaver and Julius Petzold were married on January 24, 1912, in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri. Their only children, Alexander and Julius, passed away in the 1918 flu epidemic. They were both under 3 years old. After Julius passed away, she married Henry Miller. Nellie was active in her church and was a member of the Ruby Avenue Baptist Church. She was a former Noble Grand of the Harmony Rebekah Lodge, a former president of the Wyandotte County Noble Grand Association, the Fifth District Rebekahs, the Paola Kansas Council of Pocahontas and the Captain King Scott Relief Corps.
