Mrs. John [Neil] Connell died at Bad Axe Sunday, June 26, 1921 at the age of 58 years, after continued suffering from a complication of ailments for a number of years. Sarah Catherine Meddaugh, eldest daughter of Andrew Meddaugh (deceased), has resided at different places in the Thumb of Michigan. She was known to be a loving mother and wife and strove continually to accumulate a home and comfortable living for herself and family. Rearing two adapted daughters and taking care of an invalid mother-in law, she certainly was disposed to kindness and sympathy for those around her, but she was called away to another world where she will join friends in the spirit form that have passed on before. She leaves a husband, two sons, Geo. and John of Shabbona, and two adopted daughters; Mrs. Floyd Strickland near Cass City and Mrs. Hazel Molasky of Detroit, seven grandchildren, five brothers and four sisters, besides a large circle of friends. Those from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. "Meddaugh, Miss Mable Meddaugh, Geo. Meddaugh and Wm. Meddaugh, all of Pinconning.
