Miss Myrtle Abbott, 85,a resident of Decatur for 70 years, died 12:15 am Friday in the Macon county home & hospital after a lingering illness.
Miss Abbott was born March 2,1865, in Byron, Ill,daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Abbott. She was a seamstress.
She leaves a sister-in-law, Mrs.Lula M.Abbott,Decatur and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 am Monday at Brintliners with burial in Greenwood.
