Marvin served in the 88th.Inf.Div., 350th.Inf.Reg., during WW11. They fought across North Africa where Marvin was wounded. They then trained for a little while there and landed in Arno Italy. They fought their way northward to the mountians. He was killed by the Germans artillary fire on December 10th. 1944.
I remember us going to the railroad station to receive his body. The Military funeral was something I can never forget. One Soldier played Taps at the grave site, while another answered at the Cut in Generys Gap.
