George T. Andrew,64 yrs. old, a long time resident of North Andover, passed away suddenly Friday, April 30th, at Lawrence General Hospital. George had been a member of the DeMola in Lawrence, MA and reached the level of Chavalier. He worked at Honeywell in Lawrence, MA until a CVA in 1986. He spent many happy hours enjoying life with family and friends and in the good weather driving around town on his scooter.
George is survived by his wife Joyce of 43 yrs. and their 3 children and 6 grandchildren: Daughter Patricia A. and her son Jarad of Orlando FL, Brenda J. and her husband David Dietrich and their children: Ashley, Tyler, and Chelsey of Salem, NH, and Christopher G. and his wife Sheila, their children Maranda and Christopher of Salem, NH. He is also survived by his brother David and his wife, Joanne of Kingsland, GA, and two sisters, Linda and Phyllis.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 7th at 1 PM at Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Conte Funeral Home in North Andover. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Avenue, Haverhill, MA in his memory.
