Carole A. Desrocher, 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Wingate Nursing Home in Andover.

The daughter of the late Edward C. and Lillian (Brearley) Desrocher, she was born on May 11, 1939 in Lawrence. She was a graduate of Andover High School and was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company until her retirement after 40 years of service.

Carole loved listening to music, traveling and the many years she spent at the family home in Hampton Beach.

She is survived by her aunt, Dorothy B. Adams of Andover, 4 cousins and her best friend, Mrs. Marlene Holmes of Hooksett, New Hampshire.

Carole was a member of the Free Christian Church of Andover and sang in the choir for many years.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover, MA. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m,. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
