Mrs.Anna Elizabeth Bobb, 88 widow of Theodore K. Bobb and a Decatur resident for 57 years died at 4:35 am Saturday in the Decatur and Macon county hospital. Her death was due to complications incident to old age.
Mrs. Bobb was born in Lewisburg, Pa, July 27, 1846 and was a daughter of Moses and Elizabeth McGrew. She was married to Theodore K. Bobb in Lewisburg in 1870. They moved to Decatur in 1877 and from that day until her death she lived at 234 W. Cerro Gordo street. Mr. Bob died here Dec. 16, 1889. A son, George Bobb died here Nov. 16, 1933. Mrs. Bobb was a member of the First Methodist church and the Womans Relief corps and was well known among older residents of Decatur and Macon county.
She leaves two sons,Bert C. Bobb and Frank A. Bobb, both of Decatur. The body was taken to the Monson funeral home, where friends may call after 9 am Sunday.
The funeral will be at 4 pm Monday in the Monson chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
