Fayette County - SHELBY LYNNE PARADISE, 18, resident of Hickory Withe Community and daughter of Morgan and Kim Jones Paradise died June 24, 2010 at LeBonheur Childrens Hospital. Services will be at 10AM Monday at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. with interment in Fayette County Memorial Park on Hwy 64. A visitation for Miss Paradise will be from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at Peebles. A devoted member of the Hickory Withe Baptist Church, Shelby was born with a congenital heart defect known as Ventricular Septal Defect. She endeared herself to many with her love for life while supporting LeBonheur Hospital and Cardiac Kids Camp as a poster child and participating in many LeBonheur activities. In addition to her parents, Miss Paradise leaves her sisters Kaitlin and Mackenzie, and many other loving relatives and friends.
