BASILE – It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond "Red" Bellon announces his passing on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Dubuis Hospital in Lake Charles. He was 69. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Augustine Cathlolic Church in Basile on Tuesday, June 28, 2010 at 11:30 am. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father Brian Taylor officiating.
Red, a Veteran of the United States Army, enjoyed the outdoors, such as fishing, camping and barbequing. He loved his children and great grandchildren, who brought great joy in his life. A loving companion, father, grandfather, and friend, Red will be lovingly remembered by his companion of 22 years, Sue Patterson of Lake Charles; three sons, Terry Bellon and wife, Judy of Baton Rouge, Steven Bellon and wife, Nicole of Sulphur, and Robert Bellon of Las Vegas, NV; three daughters, Pamela Primeaux and fiancé, Steven Quinn of Lake Charles, Deona Davis and husband, Doug of Moss Bluff, and Jennifer Bellon and fiancé, Jimmy Morris, Sr. of Sulphur; and sixteen grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
He now rest in Heaven with his beloved wife, Parella Richard Bellon; parents, Adam and Virginia Bertrand Bellon; and brother, Harold Bellon.
